I am frustrated with the changes that have occurred.  We have had our fees increased and yet services have been diminished. The issues I describe below are new occurrences as I had functionality to all before.

Searching

  • I used to have a clear button to clear selection of search, now you have to backspace to clear choice.
  • On demand shows have now been eliminated, only current shows.
  • Search does not work in complete alphabetical order
  • When selecting an option to find out times I sometimes get an error message so have no clue when the show is actually broadcast.

On demand

  • When choosing a show to watch, unless you watch the complete show,  if you got back it starts at the beginning again and as there is no fast forward function this is a waste of time.

These are simple functions and I wonder if the "geniuses" who are eliminating these functions are actual users.

I was told that a lot of the changes that are happening is because they are trying to make the actual TV functions the same as if one is using the app.

Many people still watch on an actual TV and not on a phone, computer or tablet.

Are there any others out there who are just as frustrated,  of course, speaking to customer support yields no useful information.

Agree with all the posts about the poor on demand navigation since the recent "upgrade". I cannot easily see which movies are included in my packages, I cannot add shows to my watchlist, it takes forever to search for anything and navigate to find the right showing/episode because the tiles are so large and there are large promotional boxes that aren't even populated.. It makes it difficult to get the value out of the premium channels I subscribe to if I can't easily access the content.

I do like the ability to switch easily between English and French viewing.

The previous navigation was much, much better. What is the plan for improvments?  It's a lot to pay for cable with such a poor interface compared to the available streaming services.

I’m noticing some recent changes to the Fibe TV On Demand interface and wanted to share feedback in case others are experiencing the same thing.

Previously, the Movies section listed titles in alphabetical order, which made browsing very straightforward. With the new layout, the titles appear in a non‑alphabetical, inconsistent order, and it’s much harder to find what you’re looking for.

I’ve also noticed that the Movies category now mixes free titles with rental titles, even though Rentals already has its own dedicated section. This results in duplication and makes it difficult to browse only the free movies.

It would be great if Bell could restore alphabetical sorting for On Demand movies and separate free titles from rentals again. These changes would make the interface much easier to navigate.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing?”

Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you for your input and feedback.

Your suggestion is well worth noting and as is the case with all ideas for improvement, Bell's development team monitors this site for ideas such as this to improve your viewing experience.

Can you provide us with some further information? How are you accessing Fibe TV On Demand? Are you using the Fibe TV app on a mobile device, computer, Bell Streamer or are you using a Fibe TV box, receiver, etc.

Have you looked in to using the "Search" function and or the sub-categories listed under Movies & Shows? E.g. Channels, Rentals, Family & Kids, etc.

Let us know.

Take care.

I am accessing Fibe TV On Demand through my LG Smart TV using a Bell Fibe TV receiver (not the mobile app, computer, or Bell Streamer).

I am aware of the Search function and the available sub‑categories under Movies & Shows; however, neither option resolves the issue:

  • Search is not an efficient workaround. It takes significantly longer to enter titles, especially since the Clear option was removed, which makes correcting or changing entries time‑consuming.
  • Sub‑categories do not help, as the movie listings within those categories are also not displayed in alphabetical order. This makes browsing difficult and largely defeats the purpose of categorization.

The core issue remains that movies are not listed in alphabetical order, which greatly impacts usability when browsing On Demand content.

Please advise whether this is a known issue, planned update, or if there is a way to restore alphabetical sorting.

Good Day

Thank you for your feedback and gracious reply.

You are correct. On demand movies and shows cannot be sorted per se. There is no option built into the firmware or receiver that will allow for you to do an alphabetical sort at this time.

Bell generally does not post future updates and developmental changes in advance on this website. Your suggestion is well worth noting and as is the case with all ideas for improvement, Bell's development team monitors this site for ideas such as this to improve your viewing experience.

I do not work for Bell. I am only offering up to you an alternative.

Take care.

You’re not missing anything obvious — the problem is that Bell hasn’t provided clear on‑screen instructions, and the Watchlist feature is not very intuitive in its current form.

Here’s how it should work on Fibe TV using a Bell receiver:

How to add a show or movie to the Watchlist

  1. Browse to a specific show or movie (don’t just highlight it in a list).
  2. Press OK / Select to open the program’s details page.
  3. On the details screen, look for an option such as:
    • “Add to Watchlist”
    • or a bookmark / plus (+) icon
This option may be near Watch, Rent, or below the description.
  4. Select it — once added, it should appear under My Watchlist.

Important limitations / issues

  • Not all content supports Watchlist. Many On Demand titles simply do not show an Add option at all.
  • In some cases, the Watchlist option does not appear until you fully open the show’s info screen, which isn’t obvious.
  • The message saying “browse shows to add to your watchlist” is misleading if the content doesn’t actually offer a button to do so.
