Just noticed that my pbs on bell fibe (channel 1224) has switched from detroit pbs to buffalo pbs, but that the guide hasn't. Is this permanent and if so when will the guide schedule be changed to Buffalo? As an example, the newshour starts at 6pm in detroit and 6:30 in Buffalo.

Thank you for your question. The information about programming is provided to Bell by the providers themselves. It may be updated at any time. Check back regularly. Normally PBS is Boston and Seattle, however changes do happen depending on your location.

Good Day & Welcome.
These are programming & policy decisions that are not within our control & are best addressed by the networks, e.g. PBS, etc., and Bell Media. There is very little we can do on the community forum to influence a change in where it is coming from & when it is being broadcast.
Bell subscribes to east East & West coast U.S. Networks. Depending on where you live in Canada; the U.S. networks will flip flop back & forth throughout the day. They will include U.S. National programming & shows then all of a sudden drop in local TV followed by some programming, advertisements, etc.
You may be more interested in Detroit, but we do not control the U.S. network, viewing rights & who can watch what, the broadcast location, local content, advertising & who pays for the advertising, etc.
I wish there was something else I could do; but there is nothing more than what I have mentioned.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.
