Good Day & Welcome
Hi @Bervy
Thank you for posting your question.
We would like to assist you, but we are unable to do so with the limited information you have provided. Can you please tell us more? Can you please provide the community with the model of receiver that you are experiencing issues with?
Have you tried to restart the receiver? Press and hold the Power button on the front of the receiver for 5 seconds and wait for the receiver to turn on. Do you have more than one receiver?
- Have you tried to do any troubleshooting?
- Are there any error codes on your receiver? Satellite TV error codes
- The receiver may need to reacquire the satellite signal. Try removing all of the cables. Remove ALL inputs, run Check Switch, it will fail. Then reconnect all of your cables & try running the Check Switch once again.
- Have you checked to see if your dish has possibly shifted with the recent winds & storm conditions from last evening?
- Are there any obstructions outside that could be blocking the signal? Tree limbs, branches, leaves, etc.
- Have you rebooted your receiver by unplugging it from its power source?
- Have you checked for loose connections at the dish and receiver?
- Have you tried to do any troubleshooting? E.g. Synchronize programming, etc.
I have included the following web link that will assist you. Please select your receiver model. Once you have chosen your model of receiver, Select > Step-by-step tutorials. This will take you to a list of subcategories. Within these subsections there will be a tutorial that will guide you through setup & troubleshooting.

Since our last conversation have you upgraded your receiver? Is it particularly windy in your location? Some further questions for clarification.

Having intermittent satellite receiver issues since Friday. Is there a possibility that a dish was moved?

I have done it. Switch check and everything came out good. Still standing by. Looking for a satellite signal going through all the transponders and not finding one

It has nothing to do with any interference from trees or anything. It's got a clear view of the sky. It was working fine this morning and now it's not working at all

Thank you for your question. There is a possible explanation for your experience, I believe. The main satellite upload/download link for Bell Satellite TV is located in Toronto, Ontario. Heavy rain, either where your dish is located or at the Bell upload site, can block the satellite signal briefly, showing up as a short signal loss. The weather in Toronto yesterday through the evening was rain and thunderstorms, with weather alerts through the day. That could explain what you are experiencing. I see the same thing on my own Satellite TV service from time to time.
If your satellite receiver is not connecting, unplug it for several minutes, plug it in again and let it reboot itself. Alternately, hold the power button down for a count of 10 and release it. That forces a hard reset of the receiver. Either technique is worth trying.
