I don’t know my voice mail password, how can I reset it?

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community Forum.

Your Bell home phone voicemail password (Call Answer) defaults to your 7-digit telephone number (without the area code). To retrieve messages, dial *98, enter the default password, and follow the voice prompts to set up a new 4 to 15-digit PIN.

If you've forgotten your Call Answer password, you can reset it by calling 6-1-1 from any Bell Home phone.

If you've forgotten your Call Answer password, you can reset it by calling 6-1-1 from any Bell Home phone.

If you wish to change your Bell Call Answer (voicemail) password:

1. Dial *98 from your home phone.
2. Enter your current password.
3. Follow the voice prompts by pressing 4, 2, 1 (or 4, 2, 1, 1 for Message Manager).
4. Enter your new 4 to 15-digit password.
5. Press #.
