Good Day & Welcome.
Thank you for posting your question.
Are any of your phones working in your home? Are you able to receive & place outgoing calls on other devices? Are you using cordless phones & corded phones that plug in to jacks?
For all of the phones to work, the "telephone line" for all of the "phone jacks" must connect to the back of the modem.
In order to accurately answer your question, I would need for you to provide us with some specific information.
The wiring for all of the jacks for all of your phones must end up going to the modem, one way or the other. This can be completed very easily or with a lot of difficulty. This can be achieved by redirecting your existing wiring that is running throughout your home. The phones should be able to stay where they are.
If your basement phones rely on being plugged into wall jacks, those jacks must be properly "back-fed" into your modem's phone port, or the wiring near your electrical panel must be manually connected by a technician.
An onsite tech visit may be required. A Bell tech is best qualified to answer this question.

I have the identical problem. My single phone on the landline suddenly stopped working. The wall jack is back-fed into the modem. The phone will work if plugged directly into the modem but not when it is plugged into the wall-jack. It beeps rapidly with no dial tone. There have been no changes at my end.

Good Day & welcome.
Thank you for posting your question.
if your home works when it it is plugged directly in to the phone port on the back of your modem, then the cause of the problem will have to do with either the wiring, phone jack or portable phone / base unit.
You mentioned that your phone is beeping. Have you checked that the battery is fully charged and the base unit is plugged in to the telephone jack and source of power?
Can you try plugging in a different phone in to this same jack to see if this makes a difference?
