To call Canada from an international country, dial the exit code (often + or 00), followed by the country code 1, then the 10-digit Canadian area code and phone number (e.g., +1-xxx-xxx-xxxx). On mobile, hold "0" to get the "+" sign; for landlines, use the specific international access code for that country.
