Does the 365 Global Plan only apply to roaming or to calls in Canada too?

Hi !  We have the global 365 plan .  We live in Canada so when not traveling to other countries can we call those other countries free of charge ! Or do we have to be in the other countries to call Canada and get the free of charge ?

The Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass can only be used in all countries that have access to Bell's Roam Better. It does not include free calling from Canada to other countries.

You can use your Bell device in over 230 destinations worldwide with the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass. To view the available countries, make a selection below to see travel add-ons and rates for your destination, as well as network and coverage information.

Simply open the weblink that I have included. View the coverage map and enter the locations in the Caribbean that you are interested in travelling to with the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass.

The only restriction or rule so to speak would be for countries that roaming is not supported, or while on a flight or a cruise ship.  In these cases, either a Global 365 or a Roam Better user would both be subject to pay-per-use rates.

2 questions 

1.  If I am in Thailand and I think I am calling or texting a friend in Canada, but unknown to me the friend has traveled to another country, say Australia on a roaming plan. Will my texts or calls be free to his person?

2.  Again if I am inThailand, can a person or business with a Thai # text or call my Canadian # toll free?

The Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass can be used in Thailand. You can use your Bell device in over 230 destinations worldwide with the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass. It can be used in all countries that have access to Bell's Roam Better.

• Unlimited calling in over 200 international destinations and to Canada.
• Unlimited texting.
• Use the data from your Mobility rate plan.

1. There is no charge for you to call or text a friend with a Canadian mobile number when they are travelling and you are using the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass while you are in Thailand.
2. Calls to your phone from a Thai number are subject to rates and charges that are associated with the callers account. Calls to your mobile number would be subject to the rates in their plan. The Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass does not include free calling from a Thailand number to your mobile number.

I expressed some concerns recently that I would be charged for calls under the plan. That did not happen and this plan operated well
