I spoke on the chatline, and the person I was talking to gave me a phone number to call, which I thought was to another Department....So called and this person with a Jamaican accent asked me about the problem with the internet so he started tell me what to do with my modem as a Senior I was to slow and he did not understand my Scottish accent and I could not understand him to cut to the chase he could not fix the problem and told me to call my provider which is Bell, I had already given him my Visa Number and told him I better not get charged from Bell as he did not fix the problem, so called Bell right away and got a real Bell Employee on the line talked to him about what had just happened and he said he new nothing about this other IT Jamacian who told me he was based in the US....Anway 3 weeks letter my Visa Bill came in with this Companies Name called 1C3 Ask an Expert, Covina and I was charged $95 dollars so I would not trust any of these Bell Employees working the Chat Line as this one was working with the scammer I could not remember the number but have to hand it to them both they must be making a fortune, I am now at the stage with Bell it is far too big and you can never get through to a human so beware when talking on their Chat Line the person you speak to can be giving their cohort scammer all your information and as usual BELL walks away smelling of Rosies, but not this time because my business will no longer be with them.....They owe me a Senior $95dollars. period.....

Hi there @Cookie44
Welcome to the Bell community and thank you for your post.
We are very sorry to hear about this experience and the frustration it's caused. Based on what you've described, it appears that you may have been connected to a third-party technical support service rather than Bell technical support. Regarding the $95 charge from "1C3 Ask an Expert," we recommend reviewing any records you may have, including the phone number that was provided and any emails or confirmations you may have received. If you believe the charge was unauthorized or that the service was misrepresented, you may wish to:
- Contact 1C3 Ask an Expert directly to request a refund.
- Contact your credit card provider to dispute the charge.
We understand your concerns and we would also like the opportunity to investigate what occurred. I will be in touch via private message soon. Please check your Messages within your profile avatar in the top right corner.
