Hi @gilbert
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.

If you do not have Bell service's currently and are looking to subscribe, we do offer new customer pricing. Depending on the service's you're looking to get, it would be best to check out Bell.caOpens in a new tab or windowto find the package that is best suited for your needs.

If you are an existing customer and are looking at reducing your cost, we would recommend logging into your MyBellOpens in a new tab or windowaccount, where you can modify your current services to find a package that works best for you.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Community.

My plan is about to end and I am waiting for the Black Friday deals to come out before I make a decision.

Although past experience has shown that most of these deals add “perks” like extra gigs of useless (unusable / unneeded data). Instead of reducing prices. Highest user of data is my daughter (approx 10 gb) and yet we have 100 gb of data per month. And currently they are offering about 200gb!

with the prices of good internet soaring compared to other countries, and due to the monopoly of our ISPs in Canada, it is harder and harder for a retiree to actually have usable internet/tv/mobile services.   After spending an hour on the phone with a bell service rep to see what they can do for someone who has been with Bell for 50 years, all you get is a scripted response and a 2 year quote.  This is a horrible situation for us Canadians and needs to be addressed.

I agree with you. The issue is that we just don’t have the population/ consumer base to support economies of scale. HOWEVER, it is also clear to me that the current providers are not acting competitively. They are within cents of each other in terms of pricing and increasing prices / plan structure in lock-step with each other.
