What does "CR xx "on my bill denote? Does it mean that xx money is already present in my account and that I don't need to make any payment?

It is so confusing.

Thanks for your question. Yes, that is a bill credit. It will be accounted for in your next bill, reducing your next Bell invoice by that amount.

Thank you! I was unsure since it did not indicate CR

Appreciate the quick response

Good Day & Welcome.

If your account is showing: “CR $xx.xx” or "-$x.xx" that is great news.  That means you have either overpaid or have a credit / security deposit that has been returned & applied to your account. There is nothing you need to do. This credit will be applied to your next bill reducing the amount owing.

There is no need to adjust your pre-authorized. It will self-adjust based on the credit being applied to your account.

Thank you for your question.

Enjoy.

Hello, so why does Bell still send me so many due notes when i have CR higher than due bill? Im confused about it

Good Day & Welcome

Bell provides monthly bill notifications primarily via email when your statement is available to view on the MyBell website. If you are receiving multiple notifications and you verified that your account is showing: “CR $xx.xx” or "-$x.xx" then it is likely a scammer trying to steal from you.

Do not click on any links. Treat these emails & text messages as "Junk" & delete them. There is nothing you need to do. This credit will be applied to your next bill reducing the amount owing.

There is no need to adjust your pre-authorized. It will self-adjust based on the credit being applied to your account.

Please have a look at the following web link. It will explain to you just what I am saying with much more details.

It is far better for you to be safe than sorry!

Take care.
