Bell Fibe TV HD resolution can be set to display HD 1080p, HD 1080i, HD 720p . This is dependant on the resolution that your tv can display.
Bell Satellite TV: While current HD receivers support the 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p resolution, broadcast channels are limited to letterboxed 480i (effectively 360i in widescreen) for standard-definition channels, and 720p for high-definition channels. Web-based content is available in 1080p, including Netflix, Crave, and Bell video on demand.
Take care.

On my new QOLED TV I have to really try to see the puck in non HD sportsnet channels ( 400's). I guess cause it's only a 70" screen. The resolution should be a minimum of 720, but should be 1080. Pure bad at 360 and 480. Guess this way of poor resolution will require anybody who wants to see the puck to upgrade to an HD package from Bell. Oh, I can purchase a sports package not from Bell, hum. And cancel the existing package, hum.......

Bell Fibe TV has horrible picture quality for me. It looks like 720. Tonight I was watching the Raptors on Sportsnet East and the picture was terrible. Went to a friend who has Rogers and it was dramatically better.

When I go to a SD channel, I would expect to see a SD picture. But no, I see the exact same picture as the HD equivalent channel.
Is that a feature or a bug?
I'm fairly certain I used to see SD on the 3-digit channels and HD on the 4-digit channels. I did not find a setting to change this behavior.

You are not mistaken. You don't mention the manufacturer of the TV you are watching, but my Sony Bravia makes all channels full screen. On my set it is a TV setting. See your set's manual for more information. This is also noted in the helpful replies with a green checkmark in this topic.
