If I buy a new bell streamer how long will it be supported with software updates...5 years?

Thanks for your question. It is not possible to give you an informed answer as we have no idea how long any device will be available. Bell does not share their plans.

Bell provides a one-year limited warranty on a Bell Streamer. Bell warrants that the device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when used normally and in accordance with its intended purpose.

While the hardware warranty expires after one year, the Bell Streamer can generally be used to access service as long as that model remains compatible with Bell's network. More details can be found in the Terms of Service

Just wanted to jump in here and add that new Bell Streamers are no longer sold.

However, you can download the Fibe TV app and use it on many steaming devices, Smart TVs, and mobile devices.

Hi @BellPatricia..thanks for the helpful reply..I did not know they are no longer sold. I bought the Bell Streamer in the past because it had more fibe tv app features/functionality then my apple tv fibe app or chromecast fibe app. Hopefully going forward there will be 1 fibe TV app and parirty across all devices. Thx again
