Good Day & Welcome
Thank you @AMB263 for posting your question.
Yes, these receivers should be returned to Bell.
Bell does not sell the VIP2502 wireless receiver for outright ownership. Bell provides this receiver on a rental plan where the monthly fee is waived after 60 continuous months of rental.
These receivers will be linked to your Bell Fibe TV service. You will need to contact Bell Fibe TV customer service to have these receivers removed from your account.
A charge may be applied if you fail to return Bell's rental equipment, such as TV receivers or modems, within 30 days of canceling your service or for not returning equipment due to a repair / change in service.
To avoid a Bell non-return equipment fee, I would suggest that you contact Bell Customer Service accounts & billing at: 1 866 797-8686
How do equipment returns and refunds work?
Take care.
