How to record a series on Bell Fibe 7802?

I am using the Fibe TV with receiver 7802 and voice remote.

I have scheduled to record a bunch of TV series on different channels at different times, but suddenly, the series stopped recording at the beginning of July. I tried tons of ways including calling the help desk, and the technician sent me a new 7802 receiver, but it would not help, the new receiver still could not record TV series. What I can do is to record an episode instead of a series. I called the help desk a second time but still cannot resolve my issue.

I do not have other issues except for this one. I am going to return the new receiver to Bell.

Hey there @Proza

Welcome to the Bell community and thank you for your post.

We can understand it would be frustrating to realize that your series did not record as expected, and we will do our best to help.

Can you clarify if this affects a specific show that you have scheduled to record, or all of them? Do you happen to see an error when you select the option to record a series, or after the fact when you try to access the episode?

A few other things to consider:

  • Check your recording space, and delete previously watched recordings to make room if necessary. Fibe Cloud PVR lets you store up to 320 hours of recordings for up to 60 days.
  • How many recordings are scheduled? Keep in mind you can record up to ten programs simultaneously.

If you do continue to have any trouble, we recommend that you delete any series that you already have scheduled to record, reboot your receive, and then try setting the recordings back up from scratch.

You can easily record a series right in the Guide. Just select a program from the guide and press the Record button on your remote twice. Or, select the program from the guide and scroll down to Record Series, then select Record.
