We have channels that do not fit properly on our tv screen, this started happening about a month ago. We thought it was our tv. We have check our other tv and the channels are fine.. we have the model 9400 receiver. Has anyone one else have this issue and how to fix it.
thank you

I was having the same issue with channel 209 CTV Ottawa SD. I could not get the channel off SD Zoom. Page up button cycled thru HD setting but did not change the picture. Page Down button did not cycle thru SD settings. I solved the problem by going to an HD channel, changing the view using the Page Up button, then go back to the SD channel and the picture changed. It still showed SD Zoom but picture fit was perfect. For me HD Stretch was what worked but I suggest trying each setting on the HD channel then going back to the SD channel to see which is best for you.

same issue, talked with bell technician, NOTHING could be done. SD stuck on full zoom and will not move. Bell needs to look into this, it is 100% THEIR problem. I might need to change providers. Talk about irritating when I have a great brand new tv, and my screen is so stretched I can’t even see the score when I’m watching tennis or hockey. Yes it started around October. What a disappointment. How about listen to your customers BELL.

So, after putting a couple of frustrated comments on this page, I did something that literally fixed my tv, after almost ONE YEAR of stretched tv 😳 I went to a random HD channel, that allowed me to change both the HD and SD zooms. Not all channels allow this. So keep looking at different channels until you find an HD channel that does!
I pressed normal for HD, Normal for SD. Then enter (just in case). Then changed the channel. One down. Then did the same. It allowed both to go to normal. Then went back up one. It was back to normal for HD, but full zoom for SD 😠. Changed it again. Went down one channel. Changed it Again. Went back up a channel. . Pressed both to Normal. Pressed enter. Went down a channel. Did this about 4-5 times. THEN, went back up….and both zooms were at normal. It stayed on normal!! Went down a channel, but the HD was normal on that one, the SD stayed on zoom. BUT….I decided to try my sports and news channels…. And it has shrunk my screen size, now I can see the bottom, and left of screen shows all info. Now I have to see if it stays that way after I shut tv off!
Stay tuned! I’ll be back!
