Unable to log into Sportsnet on my AppleTV - Sportsnet crashes and will not open

I am having issues logging into Sportsnet on my AppleTV. I have updated to the latest TVos. I have done the delete the app and install again multiple times but it does not work. I am able to load the login page on my iPhone and enter my credentials correctly but Sportsnet then crashes and I cannot open it. 
I am able to get Sportsnet to work on my phone, browser, etc.

There a new problem if you log in and use tv provider log in and have you sportsnet plus account linked . And it shows you can watch things and leave . Go in awhile later and try to watch it shows at not on tv package and you pay for it . You have to log in daily or twice in one day . And I sent them explaing what happening . Are other people having g problem . Update that came out to stop app crashing . Caused another problem I see . It happening on the iPhone app and the Apple TV . Let me know if you are having g the same problem

I got a email from sportsnet and asking what type of software I am running os , phone , , Apple TV told them back . Let and see

I have that issue on a regular basis and used to simply resolve this by deleting the app and simply re-downloading it on the Apple TV, re-authenticate and this worked for the vast majority of the time.  This would be my suggestion and it would work most of the time.

Lately it did not.  The App kept crashing once I authenticated through my Bell TV subscription.  Every time I load the app, it would crash immediately.

I created an account on SportNet+ and used these website credentials to connect on my apple tv (even though I don't have a subscription attached to it, you still can create an account)...  did not lead to anything, of course...

But then re-authenticated via the TV Subscription and it worked! 

It must be some cashed, expired authentication token that does not get cleared on the apple tv local keychain; forcing a different authentication method seem to overwrite the expired authentication data stucked in on-device storage.

Give this a shot, hope this helps.

It been a nightmare so by bell nick crate a

new profile . I could not unlink sportsnet plus from my old bell profile created a new one log in and see my tv provider channels working on app . But I have provided add on and now I can’t link or unlink as my old profile is stuck so I two separate things logins . One stuck to old and sportsnet hasn’t gotten back to me . And new profile crashing on the app asking me to activate and I do it on the phone and crashes the app

It happening again crashing and I have a problem with it and sportsnet liking into it . 
another one as my live channels in app were not working and  a thread with bill nick create a new profile . I could not unlink my sportsnet from my old bell profile .  It stuck on my old profile and my new profile can’t log into sportsnet app which is tv provider login.

You saying you created a new account sportsnet and linked it to bell and then linked  your old sportsnet account to new profile even it stuck to old one

I paying for tv add on so I need my sportsnet account for Monday night hockey

I never had a sportnet+ account, because I always consumed the service via a tv subscription.  But for the heck of it I created an account on SportNet+ and used these credentials to connect on my apple tv.  It worked, but since my new Sportnet account was not linked to a paid subsciption, it obviously did not give me access to content, but it at least showed that it was possible to connect to the sportnet service on the apple tv.

I logged out of my 'dummy' sportnet account and re-authenticated using the TV Subscription and it worked!

Will try I have another issue . My old tv login is still stuck to sportsnet account . And Roger’s looking into it
