Surprising, but I guess enough of us are noting to Sportsnet about it not working. Hopefully something comes of this. Thanks for letting us know, now Bell and Sportsnet are on it, hopefully we will have a resolution soon.

Add me to the list.  This worked for me last week and today got the same error that Im not subscribed to anything after logging in through Bell as my provider.

Also have the same issues.  Everything was working until this week. I watch mostly MLB, so have been able to watch spring training games and the first 3 games this season.  I got the same feedback from Sportsnet as posted above, verbatim, and then spent almost 2 hours across multiple Bell support staff being told repeatedly different things.  My favourite was that I am not actually "subscribed" to Sportsnet, even though I am paying them for the Sports package, including Sportsnet One, but they claimed (in a condescending tone)  it doesn't include the Sportsnet app, even though it always has, and we have a "log in with your TV provider " option.  No one seemed to understand that nothing about my subscription has changed in 3 years, and this has always worked.

Anyways, I cancelled my Sportsnet package with Bell, and am in the process of cancelling my TV, and Internet based on how terribly they handled this.

The part that neither Sportsnet nor Bell seems to understand is that this was working before, and has worked for years.  I have always been able to login to Sportsnet+ with my Bell provider account, and then watch Sportsnet shows on the app.  It only just recently started saying "Subscription required", even though nothing has changed with my account, and I can still watch Sportsnet on the TV/Satellite receiver itself.  I will also be cancelling my Bell TV if they can't fix this.

I hear you, I got "Not subscribed", "Was never a part of your plan", "You changed your plan", "Alt TV doesn't exist anymore" and then I asked about Sportsnet On-Demand in the Bell Fibe App, which was "Confirmed to be a part of my plan" but doesn't exist on any of my apps (iPhone, Apple TV, iPad, tv.bell.ca, etc), followed by another conversation with another agent who told me "That hasn't existed in a long time".

The story is never straight, and I wasn't once offered peace of mind other than "Please do not worry, I am here to help you right through to resolution", but that ended in multiple disconnected calls, no call backs, and starting fresh every time I reconnected with support.

I have the same issue and just spoke to "Kevin" in support. He knew right away that there is an existing issue and tells me the level 2 support has raised this with Sportsnet and they are waiting to figure out a resolution. I don't know how much of this I believe, but it seems to be a widespread issue and the more people to call in and report this the better it will be.

I suggest whenever calling, ask for this to be escalated to a supervisor and request your incident number be added to the issue.

Hopefully they get this sorted out soon or I will be looking elsewhere for my service. All of these companies need to realize they don't have the monopolies on these services like they used to.

It seems to be anything that bell doesn't own that has the issue. .

For me It started with sportsnet but now global app\web page is doing the same nonsense.

Hadn't noticed that, but just tried and found the same issue with Global too. 😠

Might be time to raise the issue with CRTC.

What I find interesting is that if you looked back to my first posts it was the exact opposite.

Fix one problem make another it seems.

Seems to be working again for me

From sportsnet support:

Thanks for contacting Sportsnet+
We understand your concern.
As per the update from the Bell, they informed that have fixed the issue. We request you to please log out and login to check if the issue is resolved.

Count yourself lucky.  I'm back to the original problem, which is a "page can't be found" error when I try to log in with the bell credentials.  Which was the original issue I had to start with, which then got "fixed" so that I could log in but was told I didn't have a sub to Sportsnet.  It's insane a company the size of bell cant fix this.

I've had a problem for so long I'm starting to get the details screwed up lol.

Maybe if  they up the price again the service might work?

I just checked and Sportsnet, as well as Global TV are now both working. Had to log out and log back on each, but it all seems good now.... or I should say at least for now.

Nice.  Lucky. I can't even log in again.  Webpage not found. At least for sportsnet on multiple devices.

Haven't tried global.

Can also confirm that as of today if you log out and log back in, everything works as it should. 3 days ago this did not fix anything.

Yup, all good for me. Even re-opened the Sportsnet and Global websites in an incognito browser window and logged in there. All subscribed channels available.
