Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you for contacting.  the Bell Community Forum.

The remote might be slow or unresponsive if the batteries are running low. Start by checking the battery level in your remote to see if it's causing it to work improperly.

In order to assist you further can you please provide us with the following details?

  1. Which Bell TV service do you subscribe to? Fibe TV or Fibe TV App,
  2. How are you accessing your TV service? Bell receiver, Bell Streamer, another streaming device such as Firestick, Apple TV, etc.
  3. Have you tried to reboot your receiver or device by doing a complete power off / on. Locate the power cord & unplug it from its power source. Wait 20 seconds, then plug it back in.
  4. Tell us more about your remote control? Have you tried to do any troubleshooting?
  5. Is this a new remote control? Any visible damage?
  6. Does your remote control have a Multifunction button? If so, can you try pressing this button to see if a menu will pop up with options to Pair/Unpair accessories, Reboot, Factory reset, etc.

Programming, fixing or replacing your Bell Fibe TV remote

Hey @Tfweller

Welcome to the Bell community 🙂

Just wanted to jump in here and add that the Fibe TV remote may display “unsupported” if it is not compatible with the receiver. For example, the Bluetooth Slim remote isn’t compatible with the 2262/2505 receivers, and the HD Slim remote is not compatible with the 5662 4K receiver.

As suggested by @WelshTerrier, can you clarify which receiver/remote you have?

Hope to hear from you,

@BellPatricia
