Thank you for your question. In this case, Error 2001 means your b1 account and password are not entered properly. You may need to change your account password. You can follow the steps for this here.

Good Day @LJo & Welcome.

Error code 2001 can mean: Wrong username and/or password. It could also mean that your modem is unable to connect to the Bell network servers. The weather conditions over the last few days may be one of the factors causing your outage. Have you checked for any service outages in your area? Check for service outages

If there are no outages, please try the following:

  1. Verify that you have power to your modem.
  2. Unplug the modem from its power source. Wait 30 seconds & then plug it back in its power source.
  3. Once the modem is full powered up & flashing lights have stopped, there should be an error code showing.
  4. To know if your modem works, check the status lights: solid green/white usually means good, red/off signals a problem.
  5. You can also try to access the modem's status page by opening a web browser on a device connected to your home Wi-Fi and go to bell.ca/mymodem or by using the IP address 192.168.2.1. & log in using the default admin username and password

If you’re still having problems with the Internet this morning, and you are still unable to access your modem do to the error code, you should contact Bell Internet Tech Support by calling:  1 866 310-BELL (2355)

Take care.
