The feed is alternating between CNBC World and CNBC US. This morning it was CNBC World (not Good) eventually it was changed to CNBC US (good). It has now reverted back to CNBC World (Not Good).

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately Bell has no control over the feed. You are best to contact CNBC directly.

I pay Bell, not CNBC and this is especially true because when the issue doesn't occur with Rogers. CNBC is not going to respond to some Bell subscriber from Canada about the incorrect feed. It is up to Bell to sort out the material they broadcast with the source.

For days like today where it is a regulatory holiday in the USA and the US stockmarkets are closed, it is expected that they will broadcast CNBC world content.

Completely agree. Bell needs to be responsible for broadcasting the correct signal and sorting out issues with their provider(s). Also skeptical about the repeated statement that this is a CNBC problem and not a Bell problem. I'd be interested in reading the reddit discussions referenced above if anyone has links...

Thanks for your thoughts. Bell receives the CNBC signal from a third party, who receives the signal from CNBC. It appears the issue occurs between CNBC and the intermediate provider. Reddit comments support the idea that the issue is with the intermediate provider, not Bell. A quick Reddit search will find comments as recent as two months ago and older.

Why does the team at Fibe TV always tap into the wrong feed? We want CNBC US - NOT CNBC World. Please team - pay attention!

This is so irresponsible of them! It’s one of their most popular shows and to be honest one of the only reasons I pay for cable. Bell has said it’s not their fault however there is a glitch somewhere and when it happens this many times it is the responsibility of Bell to fix it.

Thank you for your concern. Please review the helpful replies with green check marks (✔️). As noted in the replies, there are many reasons why you see another feed as opposed to the feed you expect. As has been said, the CNBC feed is provided to Bell by a third party, who has it provided to them by CNBC. The forum has no way to contact the third party provider, which us why we suggest you contact CNBC directly. Not the answer you want to hear, but my own magic wand to fix things is on empty. 🙂

As a paid Bell Aliant cable customer, I subscribe to CNBC US for its business programming like Squawk Box and Mad Money. Several times a year, Bell Aliant suddenly switches our feed to CNBC World, which isn’t what we signed up for. Bell says it’s a third-party issue, but as customers, we expect them to deliver the channel they advertise and resolve these interruptions

Why does this keep happening? Again on World instead of US feed.

This is a paid for service. Bell is the service provider. We subscribe to this service and pay to see CNBC US. It’s Bell’s responsibility to fix the feed when it comes in incorrect - not the customers responsible to fix the service for Bell.
