It is so frustrating trying to watch a program when it buffers every 10 seconds Bell advertises Fibe tv but I was told I am too far away from their switch box to get it. They downgraded me to the minimum available Bell 50. Says that's the fastest I can get. Cogeco is at my door every month and I am trying to be loyal, but it is getting.more and more difficult. The worst part is, my neighbour 6 houses away has the Bell fibe and upgraded speed.
Bell just doesnt seem to care. It js very frustrating

Good Day & Welcome.
Thank you for posting your question.
Yes, it can be very frustrating when you try to watch TV, and the picture repeatedly buffers. Please have a look at these troubleshooting suggestions to see if they make a difference.
- If possible, are you able to bypass Wi-Fi entirely and connect your Bell Fibe TV box and or streaming device directly into your modem using an Ethernet Cable?
- When watching TV, are you or anyone else in your home accessing your Wi-Fi internet connection? Gaming, downloading or viewing videos, etc.
- If your using a Smart TV or similar input input streaming device such as a Firestick, have you rebooted then by unplugging them from their power source for 30 seconds to see if this makes a difference.
- Are you using a Bell receiver to watch Fibe TV? If so, which model of receiver do you have. Have you tried to reboot this receiver as well?
- Please check that your receiver or input device signal is not being indirectly blocked from communicating with your modem. You may need to reposition or adjust your TV & receiver in order to obtain a stronger signal.
- Depending on the device you are using to watch Fibe TV, you may need to clear the cache for the Fibe TV app on the device you are using.

Hi thanks for the reply...
Unfortunately none of those suggestions can work..
1) tv was built-in to take advantage of wireless
2)yes my wife or myself may be on our phone.. no videos or download just surfing..
]3)no smart tv or firestick
4)regular receiver you get 5 years old yes tried rebooting not 4k
5) tv has been fine for 4 ywars til now
6) no app being used
New thing today.. cannot restart any tv programs
Cheers

Hey there @Hatebuffering
Thank you for getting back to the Bell community.
Are you able to clarify the make/model of the receiver you currently have? Is it a small box or is there any model number on the front?
You mention 'tv was built-in to take advantage of wireless'. Can you provide us with a bit more context around that? For example, is the Bell receiver located in an enclosed space?
We are looking forward to your reply.
