Fibe TV: Can you extend recordings longer than 30 minutes after the end?

I find the ability to only add 30 minutes to a scheduled recording ridiculous. So many sporting events go well beyond the scheduled time. Examples: World Cup football matches that go to extra time, Wimbledon matches that go beyond three sets, and golf tournaments that go to a playoff. I know I can program to record the show that's scheduled to follow, but that's an extra program that I have to record and subsequently delete. And sometimes if the following programs are only half an hour, I have to record multiple shows. So inconvenient! Rogers let me add up to two hours to any scheduled recording - much more convenient. Is there any way I can change the default recording settings to allow me to add more time to my recordings?

Thank you for your question. At this time the default time to add for recording on Fibe TV is 30 minutes. We have heard nothing about a change in that default.

Good Day.

On the Bell Fibe TV app, the max default time to extend a scheduled Cloud PVR recordings is30-minutes.

There is no method built in that will allow you to change the default recording settings to add more time to your recordings.

Because live sports often run over this limit, as a work around, you can set your Fibe TV app to record whatever show is scheduled to air immediately after your sporting event. This will bridge the gap and ensures you get the overtime or extra innings.

Take care.
