Satellite 4K

First of all thank you for adding TSN in 4K on the app for SATELLITE customers..

1. Are the two 4K channels permanent or only available during the World Cup?

2. Will we also be getting Sportsnet in 4K?

Thanks.

Good Day & Welcome

Thank you for contacting the Bell Community Forum.

Bell generally does not post subscription changes such as this in advance on this website. We are unaware of any upcoming changes to the current TSN 4K channel lineup availability on the Fibe App.

Bell TV has not announced any further changes in adding the SN 4K & SN1 4K to the Fibe App.

As is the case with everything in life, there will always be changes.

Stay tuned & enjoy!

Take care.

The TSN 4K channels are a permanent addition to the Fibe TV app lineup. However, these are part-time feeds that only broadcast when there is live 4K event coverage scheduled, rather than running continuous 24/7 programming.

Since these channels are event-based, they will temporarily disappear or show as unavailable on the Fibe TV app guide when there is no active 4K broadcast.

Thanks. Are there some subscribers  who do get the Sportsnet 4K on the app? In other words is it just satellite customers who cannot aces it in the app?

Good Day.

Yes. 4K Content on the Fibe TV App is available through AppleTV 4K (and other 4K compatible devices).

To access 4K content, you need to have a Fibe TV subscription with a Bell receiver or have a subscription to Bell's equipment less Fibe TV and the 4K content will be available through the Fibe TV App.

If you are subscribed strictly to the Fibe TV App Subscription / ALT TV or Satellite, 4K content will not be available.

I am a Satellite customer and have been loving the TSN in 4K on the Fibe app. Will you be adding the two Sportsnet 4K channels to the Fibe app?

Why did you stop the content on these two channels in the Fibe app? Was this only a World Cup thing? If so someone from Bell said these channels were a permanent addition. Ps I am a satellite customer.

Good day

Just a request to make Fibe TV a premium service.

I really enjoyed watching the World Cup on TSN4K on the Fibe TV app. You could easily see the difference switching between the TSN4K  and regular TSN. I watched a lot of other sports events on the 4K channel as well such as tennis.

Please keep the TSN4K channels and add 4K for premium services.. Crave, STARZ, HBO, Hollywood Suite, Super Channel ..and Sportsnet if possible. HBO already has a 4K channel in the US. For channels that do not offer 4K such as STARZ ..you could upscale it to 4K... if allowed by STARZ.

Since streaming on internet is not a bandwidth issue(as long as one has minimum 25 Mbps) as compared to satellite ...and since Bell is moving to a Fibe TV app model only ..you could have all the channels in 4K(upscaled 4K) ...in channel number 4000's or 40,000's.

Cheers

Can you please escalate a request up the management chain for bell to add the 2 Sportsnet 4K channels to the Fibe App. It’s available for bell tv customers but not satellite tv customers.

I don’t think you can get it .

That’s what my request is. Get us Sportsnet in 4K just like they added TSN in 4K.

Can you please add the 2 4K Rogers Sportsnet channels to the Fibe app? You added TSN in 4K and would love to see Sportsnet for all the great games in crystal clear 4K.
