I need to adjust my dish. Only getting 80%. When using a satellite pointing app I need to know the satellites Bell uses.

I confirm, Nimiq 4 at 82 is now completely gone from receivers when you do a check switch (6,1,1) or System Info (6,1,3). All channels is now only on Nimiq 6 at 91

Good day.
The two satellites are owned and operated by Telesat Canada. Bell's uplink site is located in North York, Toronto, Ontario. Nimiq 4, located at 82° W primarily serves Bell's high-definition television content. Nimiq 6, located at 91.1°W primarily serves Bell's standard-definition television and radio content.
Bell's current satellite is in a Southeastern direction from the Western Provinces, Southerly from the Prairies, and Southwesterly from the Maritimes. To get a direction from a compass, set it on a flat, non-metal surface and rotate it until “North” is indicated on the dial under the needle.
Enjoy.

My satellite dish is only connecting to satellite 91 and not 82. Is there a Bell satellite out of order?

No. Nimiq 82 was decommissioned and taken off line months ago. Please see the helpful replies with green check marks for more information.

I have a old SD LMB.
Since sat 82 is not used will the old LMB pick up both SD and HD signals.
Do I have to buy a different LMB.
Thank you

Hi @h-e-n-r-y
Thank you for your post.
Your current LMB should still work fine, but it's possible it could need to be replaced depending on which LMB you have and if you're experiencing any issues, which would be determined by troubleshooting.
- Can you share which receiver models you have?
- Are you experiencing issues with your channels?
- Are you receiving any error code or message on your screen that you can share?
- Are you able to test and share your signal strength?
- Are you able to run a 'check switch' on your receiver?
- Does your dish outside have a clear line of site to the sky (no building, trees or debris blocking view, etc...)
Looking forward to hearing back.
