I had a problem with my internet connection. One of the maintenance needed access, to the electrical room, to determined if my phoneline is an issue. However, some areas are restricted, and no one can't get in. Why does Bell not had a main reciever outside of the building?

Bell equipment is normally locked in a secure room, Eg. Electrical room, maintenance room. This a common room for the all of the tenants that houses sensitive equipment. Bell needs to gain access to this room when they have to add, change or repair customer communication services. When the Bell technician arrives, he will solicit your help in contacting the building manager, owner, caretaker or whomever in gaining access to this location for testing, etc. If he needs to get in to the room and can not gain entry with your assistance & no one on site has a key, he will advise you to contact Bell once again when entry to the room is available. Unfortunately he will not be able to complete his work order at this time.
