Both my wife and I have one bar in West Brant. We are on 5G. Iphone 14 pro max and iphone 14. Switching to LTE doesnt help. Most calls go through but noone can hear us talking. Calls dropping. Its been like this for years now. My work phone iphone 13 pro max with Rogers has full bars and no issues with reception.
every troubleshooting step we have done. Keep thinking “they will fix it”. Now im thinking maybe noone is reporting it and you guys have no idea.
but i have had a lot of people with Bell in our area confirm the same.

I second this.

I also live in west brant and anything past the school I get zero data.

its 3g and lte over there and I can’t do anything with my phone. Lots of my clients are on that side or in slightly more rural areas and the same thing. I have a iPhone 14  plus.

nobody has an answer, not bell or apple and apple has tried everything. It’s ridiculous!

From my experience in rural areas (and I live in one myself) cellular signals vary depending on many factors. Frustrating? Very much so. But it affects every carrier.

I live in Brantford Ontario and I just switched to Bell and purchased an iPhone 17 Pro Max .  The reception is absolutly horrible!  It takes forever for my pages to load.  I never have great reception.  Some places I am on SOS all the time.  It is horrible!!!  I have already reset my network settings, restarted my phone, turned off most of the back ground app refresh apps.  I am so angry that I switched to this provider!!  Any suggestions on what to do

Thanks for your concern. According to my favorite cell map there are well over a dozen Bell towers in Brantford. Other than slow loading pages, what other symptoms are you observing?

Poor cell reception can be caused my many factors. They include crowded cell sites, poor location in relation to cell sites, local topography and phone settings. Make sure your phone is not set to 5G Standalone but to 5G Auto for Voice and Data under Cellular Data Options.

Other than pages load very slowly, my phone calls lag, poor reception, I never have more than 2 bars.

Thanks for the clarification. Have you set your phone to 5G Auto? Are you moving around a lot? Are you inside buildings? All these have effects on cell phone signals, especially 5G.
