Hi there, @Amanda1. Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.
It's understandable that you'd want to block US calling for your child - long distance charges can be heavy, and it can be hard to tell sometimes by just looking at the area code alone.
Ultimately however, as both Canada and the US share the same country code (the 1 at the beginning of a number is the country code), calls to the US specifically are unable to be blocked without blocking calls to Canadian numbers as well. By extension, this also applies to a number of Caribbean countries that also use the same code. As a result, this is not an option available to Bell Mobility users.
If your child is calling the US often (they have American friends online, there's family members in the US, etc), it may be worth considering moving their phone line to a Canada / US plan simply for peace of mind. To review available plan options, you can go to MyBell and go to Manage My Plan
Otherwise for international calling outside of the US and the Caribbean, we have another thread on people looking to remove restrictions on said calling
- you can effectively follow the same instructions that are given to remove it, instead contacting Customer Service
to have it added instead.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
