No matter what I try, I cannot turn off voicemailmms. If I text "stop" , my phone will not send the message.
I want to use the normal mailbox, not the MMS service.

You can turn off your device’s default voicemail notifications by texting “DISABLE” to 44625.
I have attached the following web link that will explain this relatively new feature:

To be notified of new voicemails only via MMS, you can turn off your device’s default voicemail notifications by texting “DISABLE” to 44625. I have the same problem. I spent hours on the phone with Bell Mobility technical staff and they tried multiple things to get rid of it because every time I get one of those mms voicemails I am then prohibited from accessing the person who sent it to me. The problem was solved temporarily, but now it’s back.

Same with me. Bell took 4 hours on the phone with me to turn it off, now it’s back. And anyone who sends me a message and Bell converts it to MMS then I cannot contact them again.
They may refuse to post this reply. Bell doesn’t like the truth.

Cannot send messages again. I had Bell fix this at their end by turning off the voice mail to message ‘feature’ that I never requested. I’ve got those annoying voicemails turning into text messages back again. As soon as that starts, the ability to send texts or respond to texts is gone again. Usually takes 4 to 5 hours and multiple people at Bell to fix this.

I have been trying to turn off the feature voicemail to text or sms or mms. I have sent stop and disable to 44625 repeatedly and I keep getting the message unable to send. So now what do i do. I find this feature annoying because all the Scam calls now leave both voicemail and a text message.

I have a Samsung galaxy S 24 FE model SM-S721W with the 8.0 OS, android version 16. I do not have live voicemail settings that I can find and I reboot my phone generally every week and all apps are always up to date.
