I’m travelling to Europe for 2 weeks. I bought an eSIM and I can’t get it to download on my iPhone 13. How do I get it to go onto my phone? The phone won’t scan the QR code.

@Vin1 Have you contacted Bell Mobility Customer Service? If not, then you need to do so.
The Samsung S24 series can support up to 20 eSIM profiles on a single device. However, only one eSIM can be active at a time. You can also use your Samsung S24 to get dual-SIM functionality, meaning that you can have two carriers at once — one with your eSIM and another with a physical nano-SIM card.
To add a travel eSIM to your Samsung S24 FE, go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM. You can then choose to Scan QR code using the carrier's provided QR code, or select Enter activation code to manually input the details from the carrier. After following the on-screen prompts and completing the process, your eSIM will be activated and ready to use for your travel.
- Open Settings: Find and tap the Settings app on your S24 FE.
- Go to Connections: Select Connections from the settings menu.
- Tap SIM manager: Choose SIM manager.
- Tap Add eSIM: Tap the Add eSIM option.
- Choose an activation method:
- Scan QR code: Select Scan QR code and scan the code provided by your network carrier or eSIM provider.
- Enter activation code: Select Add using activation code (or similar) and enter the information provided by your carrier.
- Follow on-screen prompts: Your new mobile plan will be downloaded and activated
If you are experiencing issues:
- Confirm your travel network carrier and their associated eSIM service is supported on the Galaxy S24 FE.
- You'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection to download and activate the eSIM.
- Make sure your phone is unlocked, as a locked device may prevent the eSIM from activating.
- Ensure your phone's software is up-to-date for compatibility.

Hi there @Georgia, and welcome to the Community.
To be clear, are you referring to an eSIM with a local provider in Europe?
Could you also confirm that you've tried using the built-in Code Scanner in the Control Center in your iPhone? Check out this page on Apple's support site on how to Scan a QR code with your iPhone camera
for where to find it.

My current Samsung S24 FE operates an esim as its primary for the bell mobility plan. How can I download another esim for travel purposes? Using the QR code provided by Bell Mobility does not allow me to download.

Thanks for your question. If your phone can take a second eSIM, I suggest you visit a Bell store in person. They should be able to add a second eSIM to your account.
