Title hopefully is clear.
If someone knows, before I find out for myself (and when I do, I will post the answer), as I will be adding a new line, not porting an existing line, how many numbers will the system offer me to pick one from.
The numbers would be the from the last 4 digits from one of the area and office code below.
Or does the system just pick one, and say thanks, this will be your new number.....
And on a side note, does anyone know which area amd office code will likely be picked from currently in Windsor Ontario. As I suspect several of the 519 ones may be exausted by now. Again I am curious...
It looks like it may be one of....
| 226 | 724 |
| 226 | 757 |
| 226 | 758 |
| 226 | 759 |
| 226 | 787 |
| 226 | 788 |
| 519 | 300 |
| 519 | 965 |
| 519 | 981 |
| 519 | 982 |
| 519 | 984 |
| 519 | 995 |
| 519 | 996 |
Many thanks all.

Ok here is the answer.
When I got to the point where I was offered to select a number I was offered first to pick the area code.
As the previous person said I could pick one of the 4 available in Windsor.
Once I selected the area code the system gave me a choice of 5 numbers. All the numbers were from a single npa (area code) and nnx (office code). So in my case I had 20 numbers to pick from.
later folks.

and if it matters, I would be self provisioning the number using the online system, not via a Bell store or authorized agent.

Good Day.
Not sure of the purpose behind your question. The area codes for Southwestern Ont., which Windsor is a part of are 519, 226, 548 & 382. (In order of oldest to newest.)
As to which office you would be assigned out of, use to depend on where you lived within the community. At one time, it made a difference. It is not a big deal today. Specific nnx codes are still assigned to certain c.o.’s. Bell Goyeau St. central office is by far the largest office in Windsor. There are two other large offices spread out across the community. They are Avondale & Francois. There are numerous smaller office adjacent to the City of Windsor. E.g. Tecumseh, LaSalle, Amherstburg, etc.
There has to be close to 100 office codes, (nnx) within the community.
Take care.
