Mobile network state

Hi I just got a new phone and my mobile network state says it's disconnected. What does this mean? Please help

For the Community to be better able to assist, we'll need to ask you to provide us with more details.

  • As you just got a new phone, have you activated your new SIM? Are you trying to use your old SIM?
  • When putting your SIM into an old phone, are you still disconnected?
  • Have you checked that your APN settings are correct? If they aren't, have you reconfigured them? If you're uncertain as to how, check out our page on How to configure my mobile devices to connect to the Internet on the Bell Mobility networkOpens in a new tab or window
  • If none of these have worked, have you spoken to Tech Support?
