Hi,
I just got my new phone in June and it copied my old phone which had a virus which I did not know was coming from Google Play and/or Facebook when it was enabled and disappears when I disable Google Play and Facebook. It is now on my new phone so I am unable to use either of these Apps. How do I get rid of this issue.

Good Day.
It is possible for apps downloaded from the Google Play Store to contain malware or viruses.
If your Facebook account was infected by malicious software, it is often used to follow people and like Pages you'd not want to. You can review your activity log and delete any posts you didn't mean to post and any Pages you didn't mean to like.
If you truly have a virus or malware installed on your device, there are only a couple of things you can do:
- Folow the instruction that I have provided in the two weblinks below.
- Scan your device to clean and remove the virus.
- Contact the antivirus software tech support site to seek assistance.
- If unsuccessful, with the above, to help remove harmful software from your device, you may want to: Reset your Android device to factory settings - Android Help
Malware & unwanted software removal
Remove malware or unsafe software - Android - Google Account Help

Thanks for your question. What makes you believe you have a virus? Have you looked at the manufacturer’s web site for assistance? Have you checked with Google? Do you run an antivirus program?
