No picture, only audio on Fibe TV & Airplay using Macbook Pro M1 Max with Sonoma

Hi,

my samsung smart tv doesnt display the video of my bell fibe TV app when i airplay, it only has audio. All of my devices are updated to their newest updates. I have a Macbook Pro M1 Max with Sonoma.

Thank you for your question. The Fibe app is not compatible with Samsung TV’s apparently. At the same time, you will need an HDMI adapter and cable to connect any Apple device to a TV. That has been my experience with iPads and iPhones.

Oh no! Not even with airplay? okay so if i get an apple tv and put the fibe app onto that, it should work?

I can’t speak for Apple TV. I have only run the Fibe app from an iPad and iPhone through the Apple HDMI adapter to my Sony Bravia TV’s.
