Hi all . I’m a bell satalite customer. I recently cut back on my channel package and stayed with basic. I started streaming with Roku but ran into an obstacle. You can add Canadian channels to Roku like CTV Global and CBC. Haven’t found a City tv app yet. I’ve added said channels entered my tv provider created account but when I go to watch them I get either an error message or I’m not authorized contact your provider. Contacted provider . Lady I spoke to never heard of Roku. Not knocking her all good. So seeing anyone else has or had this issue . Oh and CTV makes you enter a pass code to get in each time . What am I doing wrong here ?

Good Day.
The Fibe TV app is free to download and is available for Bell and Bell Aliant Fibe TV customers as well as for Satellite TV and Fibe TV app customers from Bell.
Roku is one of the few devices that is just not supported. There is no City TV app available on Roku.
Have you checked out the support articles for your device on the Roku site?
Official Roku Support | Roku Device Questions & Troubleshooting
In order to add a TV provider account & be able to view all of the channels, your Bell Satellite subscription must include the channels. The Starter package does not include all of the stations mentioned in the Roku apps. Specific channels are only viewable in certain regions.
- E.g. CTV2, NTV, etc. Only available in select areas.
There are many other device options that are available that may better meet your specific needs.
I have included this web link that may assist you.
What is Fibe TV app and how do I use it? (bell.ca)
If I find any further details that may be of assistance to you, I will post them on the forum.
Take care.

Well, that’s citytv’s choice. You have to switch to android or apple.
Did you check out “remember my username” when you login? Were you always on VPN?

I have the same problem Garry. I don’t know how to fix it but at least you know you’re not alone. As for the having to sign in each time with CTV, I am not sure. I don’t have to enter anything but it asks who is watching, like which profile.
