Why no picture in picture?

Decades ago, I used to watch content on a 27" Sony (glass) TV that had Picture In Picture. PIP was useful then, but, for some reason, it has gone the way of the Dodo. Now I have a huge flatscreen TV with acres of space for PIP and it's not available. It's the one feature I'd love to see Bell add to their Fibe TV.

Thank you for your question. No. Picture in Picture was available on Bell Satellite TV on a long discontinued receiver. It is no longer offered. It is not available on Fibe TV.

The only Bell device supports pip is the Streamer that usually comes with fibe TV app packs.

The Bell Satellite TV 9242 PVR has the PiP feature, but no others do. https://support.bell.ca/tv/receivers/how_to_use_picture_in_picture

Is that a legacy product.

I believe it is. It uses an older remote with a PiP button.

Is there a picture-in-picture mode that will allow you to watch two different channels at the same time on the new Fibe TV Box?

Was able to use it on satelite reciever but unable to find option on Fibe TV Box or App

No.  The Android Fibe box does not have PIP.

Interesting. Maybe it's too difficult to do in Android. I doubt it, but I hadn't thought of that. Regardless, it should be a standard feature. Bell simply telling me it's not available is stupid.
