Hello, when I switched to Bell a month ago, I got one Arris VIP7802 box for the TV on the main floor, and another VIP7802 for the TV in the basement where it now has to co-exist with a 4K 3rd gen Apple TV streamer. In the days before the VIP7802 and the 4K 3rd gen Apple TV, with only the Universal RF remote MX-880 I used to be able to switch seamlessly between watching cable TV and streaming, as both could be programmed into the Universal, but now I can only program the Universal with either one, not both, if I try to do what I did before, the system crashes and requires a reboot. I have to use two remotes to switch between the two sources, but I would like to use one remote for everything. I've read in this forum that the VIP7802 currently does not support the new gen Apple TV. My question is, if this is the cause of my problem, then I can ditch both the Apple TV and the Universal remote, I will use the VIP7802 remote to control my receiver and blu-ray player, can I do that ?
