I have just paid my first bill since returning to Bell. Imagine my surprise when I saw that there will be a rate increase (6$) in February. I am not impressed. If this is how you're going to operate, I may have to reconsider my move back to Bell.

Hi there, @Carnival. Thanks for reaching out.
Please do take a look over the thread, including the approved responses (with a green outline and a checkmark), for how you can see when a price increase is being communicated to you.
Let us know if you have any further questions. Best wishes.

Pricing change notifications are sent out at least 30 to 90 days in advance. Notices can be seen directly through your MyBell account.
If you wish to see these, then you would need to:
- Sign into your MyBell account

Why do you always keep increasing the monthly internet rates when you made a promise as not to increase. You don’t even honor your loyal customers. But make no mistake that when another provider gives a better rates, I will not hesitate to switch and hopefully never ever come back to Bell. The actions are disappointing and represents a culture of making money with no care for the customers that makes you who you are as a company.
thank you. I hope that you treat your customers with better rates and keep them happy so you build loyalty instead of pushing them away.

How do I get a non offshore service rep from Bell? Bell randomly increases each of my lines by $6/month and I’m only offered an option of a 2 year plan with new phone?
Used to be able to call and get someone in Canada who didn’t constantly repeat the same phrases from the Bell script - so frustrating!!!!!

Thank you for your question. I can’t comment on customer service representatives as they are not related to the forum. The forum has no access to your account billing profile, as well. I can only suggest you use the on line chat for your questions.

I am seriously thinking of dropping bell as the prices keep going up and the service is getting worse. Seems like every 6 months it increases. I might just go with starlink as I have reviewed customers comments and they mostly say starlink is good and can also take it with me if I go camping or travel. If it costs the same as what I am paying now at least I will have better service and options. Not sure if anyone else has the same experience? And then if you have a problem, they want to charge you to come out and look at it, your service should not mcharge for a service charge at theses high prices.

I had a price increase on my son's BYOD voice/text only plan that went into effect this month's bill. A $5 increase for which I had zero notifcation aside from a July 3 "CRITICAL INFORMATION SUMMARY" PDF buried on the MyBell site. There was never a message attached to any bill that indicated this change. I've gone through all the prior bills to the beginning of 2026.
When there is a message it's this boiler plate nonsense that has nothing to do with my billing rates.
"1 of 1 If you have concerns about your services, call us at 1 866 676-2012 or visit bell.ca/contactus. We're always here to listen and help. Do you have a complaint regarding a telecom or residential TV service that we haven't been able to resolve? The independent Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services (CCTS) may be able to assist you free of charge: ccts-cprst.ca or 1 888 221-1687."
And how can they alert me (with no email or any other notification) on July 3 for an increase that takes place the same week?

We’re in the same boat. With both got hit with a $6 increase in our bills. The way that the information is hidden in the account is so sneaky and not transparent. I called loyalty and they said that we could except things like this a couple of times a year. This is unacceptable. We were told in person that we would never have to worry about price increases, yet here we are We are currently researching other options with different companies.

They are absolutely sneaky and relying on the many customers, primarily seniors or those not internet or financially savvy enough to notice. I called and the rep eventually cancelled the increase and refunded me the one month's increase. This indicates it's not some written in stone thing, and they can still operate based on the rate I signed up for. Bell knows that only a small percentage of people will make this call and advocate for themselves. It's despicable.

lol they did the same thing to me. They said I was getting a free speed upgrade to 3 Gig Internet. Then 2 months later they just increased the price by 6 dollars. So it was nearly the same amount as what I would pay for 3 gig anyways. And I know they did this because they raised my price by 6 dollars like 4 months before that. So 2 rate increases within 10 months of 6 dollars.
