What does "CR xx "on my bill denote? Does it mean that xx money is already present in my account and that I don't need to make any payment?
It is so confusing.

Hey @Viv1, thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community 🙂
That's absolutely right! if you see CR that means that there is an outstanding credit, and no payment would be due.

If your account is showing: “CR $xx.xx”, that is great news. That means you have either overpaid or have a credit / security deposit that has been returned & applied to your account. There is nothing you need to do. This credit will be applied to your next bill reducing the amount owing.
There is no need to adjust your pre-authorized. It will self adjust based on the credit being applied to your account.
Thank you for your question.
Enjoy.
Take care.

You can not withdraw a credit from Bell. If you overpaid your account, contact your credit card company or financial institution immediately to reverse payment. Otherwise, the credit balance will carry over to next month’s bill, reducing the amount owing.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
@Minnieme This is a peer-to-peer website. As such, we do not have access to your account or billing details. I will do my best to answer your question.
If your account is showing: -$144.00 is due, this is a “CR $144.00”. That is great news.
This means you have either overpaid or have a credit / security deposit that has been returned & applied to your account. There is nothing you need to do. This credit will be applied to your next bill reducing the amount owing.
There is no need for you to adjust your pre-authorized payments. It will self-adjust based on the credit being applied to your account.

Thank you for your question. A minus amount in MyBell indicates you have an account credit for that amount. It won’t let you pay more until that credit is used up.

Would bell take money from my Bell account in Credit balance first or directly from pre-authorized direct debit leaving the credit balance untouched forever?

Good evening @xman, and thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community 🙂
If there is an outstanding credit on your account that amount will cover any new charges until it's depleted. Then your pre-authorized payments will resume.
