Would be really nice if the Bell TV app supported 4K on Apple TV and not have to rent additional hardware for this service.
That is all
Thank you

I have an Apple TV 4K which, as you would expect, can display 4k streaming (Netflix, Disney, whatever).
I have a Fibe app on my Apple TV 4K. I want to access TSN4k. As I have said, Bell CSAs cannot tell me how to get it, although some people on Reddit have been able to do it. (In their Fibe app, the display settings includes 4k as an option. My app does not.)
does this answer your question?

Thank you for the clarification. My Fibe app does not either, and I have a Bell Internet service and a 4K TV on an Amazon Fire Stick.

A Bell spokesperson has confirmed the Redditors ‘ findings:
Bell Fibe TV customers can now enjoy live programming in 4K on Apple TV, with 4K Video on Demand coming later this year. Today, Fibe TV is also available in 4K on several other platforms, including Amazon Fire TV, Android/ Google TV, Roku, Samsung, and LG.

Perfect! Now how do I get it?
There is nothing on the Bell web site and three Bell CSAs I spoke to were unaware and — with or without Apple TV 4K —had no idea how to get TSN4k.

Good Day & Welcome.
There has been a recent change to the availability of 4K content on the Fibe TV App. Please refer to the following Q&A for the specific details.
Q. Has there has been a recent change to the availability of 4K Content on the Fibe TV App?
A. "4K Content on the Fibe TV App is available through AppleTV 4K (and other 4K compatible devices).
There are a couple instances where it is not though. It is not available if the client is subscribed to Virgin Plus TV, Satellite TV or ALT TV / Fibe TV App subscription; otherwise, it should be available. If experiencing issues, please ensure that the Fibe TV App is up to date with the latest firmware."
Please note that the ALT TV / Fibe TV app is not to be confused with our new equipmentless Fibe TV. ALT TV was a subscription which was eventually renamed to the Fibe TV app, but customers that are still technically on "ALT TV / Fibe TV App" and have never migrated over will not have access to live 4K content.
Enjoy!
Take care.

No disrespect to you, WelshTerrier, but this sounds silly. (“You can stream 4k on Fibe tv using Apple TV or similar device, but not if — many years ago — you signed up for Fibe when it was called Alt, and now that we have changed Alt to Fibe, you can’t get what other Fibe users (who never had Alt) now get. Are we clear?”
Here is what is absolutely clear: Bell has the technology (if there was ever any doubt) to stream 4k, and chooses to do for some and not others.
It is also clear that Bell has absolutely no advice (on its web site, its social media channels, its advertising or its help line) on how old Alt users who are not on the real Fibe can get the real Fibe. (I spoke to 3 CSAs on how to get TSN4k (*which is listed as a channel they provide*). They had no bloody idea.

Sportsnet 4k, channel 1395, works fine on my Bell cable box and my Amazon Firestick 4k max.
It WAS working on my Apple TV 4K 3rd gen but stopped a few days ago. I suspect the recent update to TVoS 26.3 had something to do with it but of course can't be sure.
I've never had the use cases you mentioned, just fyi.

Hi @LearningToKnow
Is the Fibe TV App on your Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen on the latest firmware version and can you share which version it is showing?

Hi @Edison53
Can you please check to see if the 4K content is now available? We'd recommend restarting both your modem and device (Apple TV).
Looking forward to hearing back.

Restarted both, no change. No 4k channels.
after 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone with Bell escalation services, I was told I need to move from the Fibe tv app to something else called Fibe tv, without a receiver. Was sent back to customer service, so that after almost two hours on the phone (this time; this was 7th and 8th agent I was speaking to), I was told the 4k channels would require me to purchase a package that is $83 more than what I am currently paying. None of this makes any sense I am afraid.

I'm sorry but I really don't know. The channels reappeared as mysteriously as they disappeared. They have been available on the Amazon Firestick 4k Max consistently since the functionality was first introduced.
