Good day
Are we already on the "cutting-edge, full-service experience through apps on devices customers already own" that was announced 6 months ago on October 14, 2025....or is it still coming in 2026?
Thanks

Hi @Streamer
Thank you for your post.
What you are referring to is our equipmentless Fibe TV service where a receiver is not required. If you are currently subscribed to Fibe TV with a receiver you would need to migrate to the newer service, which to view content you would need to download the Fibe TV App on a compatible device. Rest assured even if you have a receiver currently, you can still download the Fibe TV App to view your programming among your other devices. The equipmentless Fibe TV is perfect for those who would want to cut down their cost from renting receivers or to eliminate traditional equipment from their setup.
Users can subscribe to our equipmentless Fibe TV service if:
- You're a new customer with Fibe in your area.
- You subscribe / are subscribing to Bell Fibe internet service.
- You currently have Fibe TV with a receiver (VIP7802, VIP2262, VIP5662)
Currently at this time, equipmentless Fibe TV is not available if:
- Fibe is not available in your area (Satellite TV / Wireless Home Internet can not qualify)
For more information, you can check out our news article A new era for Bell Fibe TV: Stream live and on-demand - no hardware, no hassle
. Additionally, you can check out our support page Fibe TV device compatibility | Bell Support
for a list of devices that are compatible.
For existing Fibe TV customers looking to migrate to equipmentless Fibe TV, this request would need to be done through customer service / contact us
.

Good Day & Welcome.
There is fundamentally no distinct difference in the Fibe TV app interface when being used across the various Bell TV platforms.
You can use the Fibe TV app on multiple devices. Options and features can vary between platforms.
- E.g. Recordings, Cloud PVR, etc.
What is Fibe TV app and how do I use it?

Take care.

Thanks @WelshTerrier and @BellNick for the clarification...I thought there was a major Fibe TV app refresh/upgrade/redesign coming for the "cutting-edge, full-service experience through apps on devices customers already own".
