I have been experiencing intermittent internet connection for the past 4 months with my Bell Fibe. Whenever my kids are playing and we are streaming, the ping for their games spikes and the internet just freezes for 30secs to 1 minute. Whenever the kids are home and I am working, the internet would freeze for me as well on my work laptop. I have tried connecting to my router and also the modem itself and the issue still persists. I've had multiple calls to tech support and also change the modem from 3000 to Gigabit and it is still happening. This also happens whether it's wiresless or wired.

It can cause awkward issues when using 2 DHCP servers with a different IP range on the same network, especially when using a router behind a router. It's always best to use a single DHCP server.
You could try using the TP Link as a switch, to troubleshoot this a bit further.

You could try running Virtual Repair Tool
You might also want to check the modem log. Any error codes on the modem display when this happens?

I just noticed you mentioned router and modem. Do you have a router in between the homehub and the rest of your network?

I do have a TP Link AX6000 router but like I mentioned earlier, I also got the SSID on the Gigabit modem. When the internet becomes intermittent, it is happening for both the router SSID and the modem one. This is not a router issue.

Are you also using DHCP on the TP Link? I am assuming you are using DHCP on the Homehub to establish an IP for the WAN connection of the TP Link.

If you are using your own router, it's best to use ADMZ and turn of whole home WiFi on the home hub.
With your current setup you are doing double NAT. Is each DHCP server setup to have it's own range IP range to hand out, without overlapping ranges?

Home WiFi was turned off. I turned it on to troubleshoot. DHCP ranges are different subnets. I don't see how that would cause intermittent connectivity, given the issue was also happening on the Gigahub wifi, it's definitely not the problem.
