Bell email password updated - unable to send/receive emails

I attempted to change the password for my bell email. I was able to do this but now when I log on, I am unable to send or receive emails. Also emails that were in my inbox are gone. Thanks for any help.

Hello BellNick. I was trying to access my email on my phone as well as my laptop. I am using the Gmail app. I ended up calling Bell and found out that I had the forwarding email box checked in my settings. I unchecked it and all is well. Thank you for reaching out to me.

Good Day.

Let us start from the beginning You attempted to change your password for your Bell webmail email account.

How did you go about this? This is your starting point for changing your password:

  1. Login to your MYBell account  with any web browser.
  2. Select My Profile.
  3. Service profiles.
  4. Select Internet.
  5. Select Manage your Bell email addresses & select edit.
  6. You email address will be in view on your screen.
  7. Select Change password. Save your changes.

Once you have completed your password change. Login to your Bell webmail email account with any browser to test your password. If you are also using an email client such as Outlook, Apple Mail, Google Mail, etc,, you will need to reset your password in the applications as well.

If you are auto-saving passwords on you computer or devices you will need to update your old password to the new password & delete the old one.

Thank you for your reply but I have been able to change my password and I am able to log into my account. I played around last night and I am now able to send an email. I am just unable to receive any. Thank you again
