Hi,
I don't see any options available to schedule auto reboot bell home hub 4000. Is there anyway it can be done? I know it can be done using wi-fi plug but I don't want to use that. I just want to schedule using router settings or any other similar way.

At this time a modem reboot cannot be scheduled or automated.
As @AlexS asked, is there an issue you're experiencing that requires frequent modem reboots?

I don't have any issue with Bell service or modem device but I am frequently using apple airplay to mirror my cellphone on TV which is using wi-fi and sometimes it's not working but after I reboot modem, I found that it works. For this reason I would be happy if bell can provide auto reboot scheduler feature in modem settings

Hi @Customer,
Like you, I also like rebooting frequently. I bought a smart plug from Amazon for $15 and connected my modem to it. I created a time in the middle of the night to turn off for a few minutes and turn back on. It does the trick.
Give it a try.

I know this solution but I am not understanding why bell is not providing this under modem settings. Nowadays mostly all modern wifi router provide this feature under router settings.

I would also like to have this option as my Bell Giga Hub needs a reboot every month or so and when not home or on vacation I can not connect until a reboot. This option would help make this issue of losing connectivity until i get home which could be days or weeks. etc.

Good Day.
There is never a bad idea or suggestion when it comes to making an improvement.
In your example, I can see the benefits of this option when you are away for an extended period of time. At this time, there is nothing built into the modem that will automate or schedule a reboot.
One of the forum moderators will review your suggestion & will pass it on to the development team for consideration.
Thank you for your input.
Take care.
