I just received a new WiFi pod and have installed it in my garage so I can have WiFi out there and on the back patio. I ran a cat 6 cable from the home hub 3000 to the garage. It is a 100ft cable.
it seems as though the pod is trying to connect via WiFi and not Ethernet and gets a poor signal.
if I plug in the pod near the modem with a shorter cable plugged in it picks up the Ethernet signal.
the cable in the garage is working fine when I plug my laptop into it, it gets a very strong signal per a speed test.
any suggestions?

Thank you for your question. There are technical limits to Ethernet cables and at 100 feet, you may be reaching that technical limit. Have you installed the Wi-fi software app and run the wireless repair tool in the MyBell app? What does it say? Please also remember that it can take time for the pods to figure out the fastest and best path from the modem to the pod, so allow a day or so to let the system figure that out.
