I am currently paying just over $100 per month for Bell Fibe 25. For very little more I can have Fibe 50 so I am just in the process of doing this. I have two questions:-
1. Why does this upgrade need a technician to install it?
2. Browsing the Bell website, I see Fibe 50 advertised at $85 per month. Why am I paying so much more?
Thanks for any help.

Good day!
Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
1. Fibe 50 may not be a self install at your home location. If you decide to upgrade from Fibe 25 to Fibe 50, there are wiring changes that may need to me made at the Bell TV box in your neighbourhood. If this is the case, further changes would also need to made at your home. In this case, a technician would need to be dispatched to make these home connection changes. If you plan on upgrading your Fibe service, the service representative will advise you if the self-install option is available.
2. The pricing shown on Bell.ca is for new customers only. If you login to MyBell on the web & select TV, you will be able to view what is available at your address.
Thank you for contacting the Bell Community Forum.
Take care.
