It seems Bell's website is advertising 25/10 and 50/7 plans now. Why would a higher tier be advertised with a slower upload speed?
I heard a while back that some lines were borderline for 10mbit based on their distance, but why would 25 and 50mbit plans be different?

There are technical reasons why that service has differing upload/download settings. I believe those services are DSL pair bonded. That is why distance can matter. Are you having specific issues with your service?
