Do I need to Split 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands on the Bell Home Hub 3000/4000/Giga Hub in order to set up my new Wyze Floodlight v2 or will my modem self select?

@Vanadiel in my experience I have had no problem with the bell gateway selecting my 2.4 internet if things devices.
A couple of work around I have used is to take your phone far enough from the modem to switch to 2.4 and then use your wyze app to set up your device with your phone on 2.4
Another approach is put a 2.4 extender like this one from Amazon for 22.99
TP-Link N300 WiFi Extender TL-WA850RE
You could also use any extender with both 2.4 and 5.0 and set it up with a unique said for 2.4 and connect all of your Internet of things devices to.
First simplest method is see if it self connects and if not try getting your phone onto 2.4 by walking away from gateway until it auto switches. Final free option is set up separate bands. This has to be done through the administrative access to the router. If unsure how to do this I am sure there is a support article or someone can guide you.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

If it does not work properly you might have to split it up.
