Hello,
I purchased my eSIM prepaid plan while I'm temporarily in England. How can I activate it from here?

Hi there, @TH. Welcome to the Community.
You can use the appropriate QR code for your phone's manufacturer from our Support page on Setting up eSIM and Dual SIM
Please bear in mind that pre-paid customers are not eligible for roaming services; as such, you will have zero service via your pre-paid eSIM until you're in Canada.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi everyone! I bought a Bell SIM card before leaving Canada a year ago. I accidentally transferred it to an eSIM, but now its not working. Customer service said my current $15 plan doesn’t support an active eSIM. (i switched the cheapest plan before leaving so I can keep my number)
If I switch to a 5G plan, will my eSIM work? Now that I’m coming back to Canada next month.
My bills are payed and my account is topped up for a year in advance.
Thanks!

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
This is a community forum. As such, we do not have access to your account & billing information. In order to answer your question, you will need to provide us with further information.
- Please provide us with your plan information. Are you on a Monthly or pre-paid plan?
- Which device are you using? Make & model?
- Please explain: "If I switch to a 5G plan"
- Are you planning on changing your plan from a pre-paid to a monthly plan? All monthly plans include 5G.
- Does your device & eSIM support 5G? If not, then this would need to have a compatible SIM in order to have 5G.
- Are you planning on keeping your existing device and or changing your device & plan at the same time?
I have included the following information regarding SIM or eSim updating & transfers.
Update / transfer my existing Bell Mobility service - SIM card or eSIM
For further clarification & assistance you should reach out & contact Bell Customer Service or visit a Bell Mobility store when you return to Canada.
Thank you for posting your question.
Let us now if we can provide you with any further help.
Take care.
