Apple Ultra Watch will NOT Send/Receive Phone-calls without a Bluetooth Cellphone Nearby

I just purchased the Apple Ultra Watch along with the additional Bell $10/month cell plan that was setup with the help of a Bell Tech

Texting, Data and phone-calls work fine when I am in Bluetooth range of my Apple iPhone 13.

But when I am out of Bluetooth range the Watch’s LTE service kicks in and I am unable to Send/Receive phone-calls, I can only get texting and Data

I spoke to another Bell tech and he says Bell has not updated their service to accept the Apple Ultra Watch.

Can anybody shed some light?

Hey there @N-T

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

There could be a small glitch on your Numbershare account. To check it out and reset the connection, follow these steps;

Open your Apple Watch app > Cellular > (under Cellular Plan you should see Bell) Press the yellow information icon next to Bell > Manage Bell Account > Reconnect cellular service on my watch > Reconnect.

Give that a try and keep us posted on the results.

Hey BellAntgio, thanks for the feedback.

I had already tried the instructions you had suggested to no avail.

And then around 1:00PM Thursday, June 1st;   LTE Cell calls were working again... Amazing!

somebody at bell must have updated the latest Apple Watch LTE Cell settings

Yea

lo & behold
