BlackBerry devices that are being discontinued

Hi Bell community,

At the end of the day on January 4, 2022, BlackBerry is going to stop supporting all non-Android BlackBerry devices running the following software:

  • BlackBerry 7.1 OS and earlier
  • BlackBerry 10
  • BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1 and earlier

 

Talk (including calls to 9-1-1), text, data and some BlackBerry apps will be unreliable and are not guaranteed to work after January 4. If you have a device that’s affected, we suggest you replace or upgrade it to prevent any interruption in service.
